In the 19th century, musical establishments emerged from the control of wealthy patrons, as composers and musicians may assemble lives independent of the nobility. Increasing curiosity in music by the rising middle lessons throughout western Europe spurred the creation of organizations for the teaching, performance, and preservation of music. The piano, which achieved its modern construction in this era became extensively well-liked with the middle class, whose calls for for the instrument spurred many piano builders.
