Christmas has come early for family home buyers, with a Victorian gift wrapped in an on-trend renovation hitting the Northcote market.

Not only have vendors Justine and Nick Harvey done all the hard work for the next owners of the four-bedroom house, they’ll also elicit a smile every time they tell someone their new address: 32 Christmas St.

“Everyone seems to know Christmas St,” Ms Harvey said.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (COLUMBUS BUSINESS FIRST) — Many a Columbus resident can remember the window displays at the Lazarus department store along Town and High streets. Fewer may know that further down Town Street is a grand brick mansion where the Lazarus family used to live.

Now, a young couple is working to breathe life back into the home and hopes to invite area residents in soon.

Alpha Delta Pi House Renovation Approved | News

The UA Board of Trustees approved the Alpha Delta Pi sorority’s proposal to renovate their home on Oakland Avenue next summer so members will have a place to do philanthropic, social and academic projects while bonding within their sisterhood, said the president of the Alpha Delta Pi Delta Delta chapter housing corporation.

This renovation will add new study spaces, a larger meeting room and redesign the kitchen, as well as update the systems and elements within the house such as windows, air conditioning and the mechanical system, said Jay Huneycutt, director of Planning and Design at Facilities Management .

Haven House Renovation: Best of Old and New

The “Efficient House” program which will finance renovation work in 12,000 properties in Portugal — idealista/news

Making houses more efficient is one of the objectives of the Portuguese government through the “Casa Eficiente 2020” (Efficient House 2020) program, which will receive funding of 200 million euros in the period 2018-2021 and aims to make Portuguese houses more welcoming and efficient.
